The EVENTist tradition is comprised of spiritual, artistic and intellectual explorers who have shown us the way to eternal life not based on a mechanistic, one-time transaction that leads to some kind of personal, transcendent salvation— the purchase of a golden admissions ticket to the great county fair in the sky. Rather, these spiritual leaders have shown us that eternal life only comes through a radical and sweaty entanglement, embedded solidly on the Plane of Immanence. This entanglement is the EVENT.
